this Youtube channel<\/a> upped the anti by remixing the video quickly into a video game.<\/p>\nObviously they’re making fun of the people involved in the brawl, but its a great example of how you can utilize a viral video for your own message by making a few simple edits.<\/p>\n
This whole story is a great example of a couple things that I teach in my Youtube Course:<\/p>\n
LESSON 1: old video footage can still go viral and be used for marketing: The original greek restaurant fight video was taken FIVE YEARS AGO, but it is going viral worldwide right now!\u00a0 Do you have any videos laying around that you could re-purpose or upload to your Youtube channel today?\u00a0 Sometimes an older video that you have from a while back just needs a new intro and it can bring you traffic\/sales today.\u00a0 I even use older personal home video for this, just for bonding with my lists and youtube subscribers.<\/p>\n
LESSON 2: You can “remix” a viral youtube video for your own purposes. Just search for “highest viewed youtube videos” in google and it will take you right to it. How could you remix this or frame it for your own marketing? If a video is viral, it is already on people’s minds because they saw it in the news or on youtube. Join into the conversation they’re already having around the dinner table and redirect it towards your own products and services!<\/p>\n
