Green Compass Review

The CBD industry is booming and lots of Multi Level Marketing companies (MLMs) are creating businesses around its popularity. These MLMs primarily sell CBD-infused products. This review is about one of the most popular CBD oil MLM companies, Green Compass.

Green Compass is gaining lots of popularity in the CBD industry and if you are looking to make money from the CBD industry as well, this review is a great point to start your research for the best money-making avenues. This article will tell you everything you need to know about this MLM and if it is legitimate.

Now, I need to be frank with you. I have been making money online for over 20 years, and I have major concerns with the Green Compass business model.

My main concern with Green Compass is the same concern I have with other MLMs: you make money based on selling someone else’s product. Essentially, the harder you work, the bigger the OTHER person’s business gets. Since you only make money by selling someone else’s product, the product owners may not pay you. They may change their commission structure or even remove their products from the market. I have PERSONALLY had all these things happen. To avoid these pitfalls and learn a business model that puts you in total control, click here! You keep all the profits and you own all the products. Plus, it takes less time to set up than a Green Compass business. It even uses a loophole in the Google Maps system to get you automatic monthly payments.

Here’s a video of my daughter’s business using this :

The course my daughter used above is much better than the Green Compass program. But since you are here to learn about Green Compass, lets get back to our review of that:

Who are the Creators behind the Green Compass?

The brains behind this program are Sterling and Meredith Cook. They were both participants in the Industrial Hemp Pilot Research Program. Sterling Cook is the CEO and Meredith is the Chief Operating Officer for Green Compass.

Sterling Cook worked as a Chief Technology officer at ShopRunner before founding Green Compass. Prior to that, he worked in the business development department at Plastiq, the Software Engineering department at Oracle, and also assumed a product strategy role at Walmart Labs.

Meredith has a background working as a product manager in Walmart Labs. She has also assumed roles in business operations, engineering, and product strategy in the retail industry.

What is Green Compass?

It is an MLM that sells varied CBD – infused products. Their vision is to grow the product and get them directly from the farm to their customers. The company was launched in February 2019; a few months after the farm bill was passed in 2018.

The company is headquartered in Wilmington, United States but they also have an office in the United Kingdom. The UK office is located at Mare Street London.

Green Compass sells health supplements for both men and women. These supplements are said to cleanse and restore good wellbeing. The company’s CBD products include gummies, lotions, creams, powders, bath bombs, repellents, pet treats, and blends.

How Does Green Compass Work?

As mentioned earlier, the company uses the MLM model to sell its products. You can make money from this model in two ways. You can register as an MLM agent to sell the product and earn commission on sales. You can also recruit people as agents and earn commission on their sales.

Green Compass uses the normal MLM model where agents or sellers recruit more people into their downlines. They earn commissions from people in their downlines. Thus, they can earn more passive income if they have a bigger downline.

The person who recruits is considered the upline to the one being recruited. MLMs have been around for a long time and most of them do not rely on only recruitment to thrive. MLMs have quite a good reputation since there are very old MLMs that are still operating to date. They give agents what they promise but the same cannot be said for pyramid schemes. Pyramid schemes are similar to MLMs but they are known to fall apart quickly causing people to lose their investment.

Since MLMs are similar to pyramid schemes, some people disguise pyramid schemes as MLMs. By the end of this article, we will find out whether the Green Compass is an actual MLM or a Pyramid scheme in disguise.

How to Get Started with Green Compass

Most people get referred to join but you can also register on their website. When you join, you become a Green Pass Advocate. Becoming an Advocate requires the three steps below.

  1. Choose a starter kit

There are three types of starter kits. The cheapest is the basic kit and it costs $49.95. All three starter kits contain legal documents and guidelines to get you started. You can also choose the CORE Kit which costs $299.95 or the CORE Runners Kit which costs $499.95. The CORE Kit and the CORE Runners kits come with products while the basic does not come with any product. There is also a monthly fee of $9.99.

  1. Get access to your website

Every Green Pass Advocate gets a personal website where they manage all their MLM business. Advocates will also get access to all their training resources through this website.

  1. Mentorship and Training

Recruits receive mentorship from their sponsors. The sponsors will guide them on easier and faster ways to succeed as Advocates. If you were not recruited by a sponsor, Green Compass will assign one to you.

Green Compass Compensation Plan

Apart from earning commissions on personal sales and sales of your downlines, you will be compensated if you go higher in rank. Green Compass has 11 ranks and you can move up these ranks if you sell a specified number of products or recruit a required number of Advocates. For some ranks, you get bigger commissions with the largest being 40% of the product sale. The ranks have been mentioned below.

  • Independent Advocate
  • Team Leader
  • Senior Team Leader
  • Executive Team Leader
  • Director
  • Master Director
  • 1* Master Director
  • 2* Master Director
  • 3* Master Director
  • Gold Master Director
  • Platinum Master Director

Is Green Compass a Pyramid Scheme?

To answer this question, let’s talk about what distinguishes an MLM from a pyramid scheme. An MLM requires that at least 70% of the products must be bought by individuals outside the organization. This means agents must be able to make some decent money without recruiting people or buying most of the products themselves. In this regard, Green Compass is not an MLM since it makes provisions for people to simply sell products and make money.

Return Policy

The company has a 30 day money back guarantee but that only applies to their monthly fee.

Should You Invest in Green Compass?

That depends on you and your skills. If you are good at selling, you may make some money from this MLM. The good thing is that the quality of their products is great and it is easier to market products that work.

But the company is also not transparent with its compensation plan. They reveal who gets compensation but not the percentage they will be getting and this makes it hard to know if it is worth it or not. Hence, if you must join, make sure you get that information to be sure that the benefit outweighs the investment.

There have been mixed reviews from Advocates with some wanting to cancel and others saying the products are easy to sell due to their quality. In conclusion, don’t sign up if you have little-to-no experience in sales. Good luck!
