If you have ever watched a video about dropshipping on YouTube, you probably also got hit with the Mikey Kass ads selling his prebuilt Shopify stores or his e-commerce money-making course.
Before we go any farther, I want to give you my main concern with dropshipping in general. Most dropshipping courses won’t tell you that in order to succeed, you need to 1) have a lot of cash to spend on advertising as you test out different products to sell and 2) you have to continually search for new products as your products stop selling well and trends change. If you are a beginner, I encourage you to choose a business model that is EVERGREEN, meaning, you set it up once and it produces income for you month after month without having to do anything to it. Dropshipping is NOT a business model like this. You may think this is a pipe dream, but watch this video to learn a business model that produces autopilot income that won’t die out as trends change. You keep all the profits and you own all the products. And it takes less time to setup than a Mikey Kass dropshipping business. You know my concerns about dropshipping in general, but I decided to give it a chance and dive deep into the course to find out whether it’s a scam or not.
About Mikey Kass: Who is This New E-Commerce Guru?
The real name of Mikey Kass is Michael Kassenge, and he owns a YouTube channel by this name. At the age of 18, he took entrepreneurship as a full-time job. Currently, he is one of the youngest and most successful drop shippers in the world.
When he was 17, Mikey Kass started his dropshipping business and earned around $150K each month! Soon after this success, he dropped out of school and started living his dream life in the Hollywood hills. According to popular sources, Mikey Kass’s net worth is around $4 Million.
However, the journey of being a successful entrepreneur wasn’t so smooth for Mikey. When he was in junior high school, he tried doing various businesses under his mother’s name since he was a minor.
Luckily, he was able to make 30K in just one week. However, this didn’t impress his parents at all, and they did everything to make sure it wasn’t a scam. They called attorneys on him to investigate his business sources.
He was chased and watched by police, investigators, and attorneys who tried to find out how he made 6-digit figures in such a short time.
Undaunted, started his YouTube channel in 2013. It wasn’t very popular at that time as you might expect. Later, he tried his luck in business. This worked for him pretty well, and he was able to make $10,000 in just 4 months.
He went on to run a dropshipping business for the next 4 years, and he used this experience to design his training program called ‘Ecom Good Life’ to help young people in making money and chase their dreams.

Frankly, the official Mikey Kass website isn’t very user-friendly. It does include an instruction video right at the top where Mikey Kass explains the current program of his website as well as video reviews from people who have purchased the program already. However, the website doesn’t provide any information about Mikey Kass and his team.
It doesn’t tell you anything about their history and previous programs either. If you have any questions about the program, you don’t get the answer directly from the website. Instead, you have to email the Mikey Kass team and wait for their response.
What to Expect from Mikey Kass’s Ecom Good Life Course?
Just like any other e-commerce Guru, Mikey Kass claims to teach you a lot of things from a single course. The course duration is 36 hours and 32 minutes, but the $497 price tag is still too much for a beginner in my opinion. I recommend you spend less if you want to get your feet wet with dropshipping, to find out if you even want to do it or not.

This playlist is particularly created to keep you always motivated while building your business empire. However, I don’t get why they should charge you for a music playlist, especially when you can get your preferred tunes from YouTube for free.
Is Mikey Kass a Scam or Legit?
Let’s address the elephant in the room now. Is Mikey Kass legit or a scam? Well, I can’t call him a scam directly as the Ecom Good Life course has got some good reviews from many people. But, does this course delivers as per his claims? No, it doesn’t.
First of all, no one knows whether Mikey Kass is actually making the 6-digit figures each month, as he claims. There is no proof that backs up what he says in his videos. Also, he doesn’t provide enough information about his team anywhere.
Secondly, he is not experienced enough to teach you all the subtle strategies you’ll need to survive in dropshipping. I mean, the boy is just 20, what can you expect?
Lastly, the course is certainly overpriced. Mikey Kass doesn’t have many followers on YouTube or Instagram that can make anyone put their trust in him and get a single course at such a huge price.
So, would I recommend Mikey Kass? Probably not. You’ll find way better options for making money online. Also, there are many more experienced course instructors available nowadays who will guide you in a better way.
So, the bottom line is that I doubt Mikey Kass is a scam, and his Ecom Good Life course is probably legit. However, I don’t recommend this course for you since it costs you an arm and a leg. Plus, there’s no money-back guarantee for you if you find the course useless.
